–noun
1.a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
forgive me if i'm wrong but it takes alot to be in love. i've heard of love at first sight but let's be real.. there is NO way you can love someone based off appearance alone. personality makes up a big chunk of loving someone. i've never been in love even though i was in a relationship for a year. it really bothers me when i hear girls and boys use the term "love" so loosely. it's like they call each other b/f and g/f for like 2 days and they're already calling each other husband and wife and saying i love you regularly. 2 days later they break up and now they're saying fuck love. seriously, sit your little ass down, read a book, go to school and get your mind right. you're no where near being in love and there's no way you can give up on it before you even experience it. i know that kids are doing things wayy faster than i was when i was 14 and 15, so i'm not saying that they can't develop feelings for one another but i'm pretty sure "love" isn't it. in my opinion love is being there for that person through everything, putting them before yourself just to see them with a smile on their face. it's going out on several dates and getting to know each other better. it's going to meet the family even though you don't want to but you do it because it'll make the other happy. love is a very complex thing and there are several types of love. the love i have for a friend or family member are completely opposite of the type of love i'll have for a significant other. so please don't misuse the word in the sense of meaning and how soon you say it.
again, this is my opinion because this is MY blog. :)
